YOUTH SPORTS

Our Philosophy

The Saddleback Sports Department emphasizes sportsmanship, participation and fun! We encourage positive sportsmanship by presenting the Mark Feldman Team Sportsmanship Award to one team in each competitive division every season who displays the best sportsmanship throughout the season. We also stress sportsmanship in our noncompetitive divisions. Our leagues have minimum play rules so every child has a chance to participate and we encourage our coaches to keep practices and games fun!

Volunteer Coaches Needed!

Volunteer coaches are what make our youth sports leagues successful and affordable. Coaches are provided with a coach's kit that includes:

• Sport specific coaching book by the American Sport Education Program
• Coach's manual, including fun games and drills
• Embroidered coach's shirt
• $25 coach's credit for future registration

Inclement Weather

Outdoor programs are cancelled due to inclement weather. A determination of field conditions will be made one hour prior to game time. For cancellation information, please call the Saddleback Sports Line at (949) 460-2731. The outgoing message on the Saddleback Sports Line is changed ONLY if games are cancelled. Registration Information

Pre-registration is required for all programs! Mail, fax, on-line and walk-in registration is taken through the registration deadlines listed for each program. No phone registration is accepted. Most programs fill quickly, sometimes before the registration deadline. Please register early! Registration is taken on a first-come-first served basis.
